From October 2025, Meta and Google will stop running political, electoral and social issue ads in the EU. Paid promotion on Facebook, Instagram, Threads, WhatsApp and YouTube will no longer be available.
This is not just a policy change. It will reshape how campaigns, NGOs and advocacy groups reach people online. Paid ads will lose value, while organic and creator-led content will become the main way to connect with audiences at scale. This will disproportionately benefit those who adopt this model compared to those who don’t. So far, right-wing populists have been the ones using it most effectively.
At Amplify:Good, we help organizations move from dependency on paid ads to a creator-centered approach. Our work falls into three areas:
Understand what works and who matters.
Plan smarter campaigns in a post-ad world.
Turn strategy into campaigns. Amplify:Good builds creator-driven networks that work outside Meta’s ad systems. We connect you with trusted voices who can deliver your message in authentic and creative ways.
We can help you adapt to the new restrictions on political advertising. Feel free to write us at contact[at]amplifygood.eu, or book a call with us right away:
